Reseller Hosting needed

I am looking to switch host,

I am currently with a host who seem to have no interest in security of their servers and only shrugged their shoulders when presented with a list of 20+ of their IP addresses that have multiple infected sites hosted on each.

I cannot have this level of disinterest in my livelihood, so it is time to find a professional outfit.

All suggestions are welcome, and cost is not the overriding factor.

I am with Vidahost and can confirm that I have been very pleased with them. I have "gone through" a number of hosts and am planning on sticking with these <G> Servers in the UK, support is excellent and fast. They go out of their way to help you, even if your problem is not to do with their servers.

I hvae been with hear as far as resellers go they ahve been rather good....if i site does go down its up within hours...

You mean in hours ??? I dont think its good sign for reseller to have there site down for hours.

Any update on server even hardware upgrade by our DC takes 30 minute..Hours of Down time is really not good.

Being a reseller you should always takecare of such problem..Normal reboot takes just 5 minutes.

I host with bytemark.co.uk - small and geeky. Virtual machine is built with a basic install to your spec on top of which you add your own programs. Self managed with excellent user forum. Never had a security breach on any of my servers.

If you do decide to go with them, please put 'more' into the referrer field so that I can get a discount off my next renewal.

Clook also have a good reputation if you don't want to look after the server yourself.

Before Xmas I rang Heart to report that a number of sites hosted on their servers had been hacked - check for any current hacked sites to see if they have found the hole. (A search on 'buy discount cialis' followed by reverse DNS lookups will reveal how many UK hosts are currently infected by the hack - view google's cache to find other search terms used by the hackers and to find links to more hacked sites. Take care when doing this as one of the ways the hackers are gaining access to servers is through malware on PCs harvesting FTP login details. And I really don't trust a hacking script that does different things depending on the useragent requesting the content.)

SenMagazine are hosted on justhostme and their site keeps getting reinfected, so that is another host to avoid at this time.

Well i think you should go for some professional host like Hostgator or bluehost. Well i recommend Hostgator. go to www.hostgator.com
