We use Urchin which I'd highly recommend. Most of our customers use webalizer and AWStats which are also both very good just not quite as powerful with their results filtering.
I think it’s quite important for every site owner to be aware of its visitors. What monitoring solutions do you use for understanding who is coming to your website and what they are doing while they are there?

Hello,
We use both Google Analytics and AWstats. Personally I prefer AWstats as it provides much more specific data. Google Analytics is also good but will not catch data from those who have javascript turned off.

Hello,
Awstats is good..but if you wish to see real time activities of visitors on your site a chat software is best way to do it.
you can see clients details such as there IP,Country page they are viewing etc using liveperson, CCS etc.
Its much better option to know real time activities of visitor.

Google Analytic is a great tool. You can get the data you want to get.
I would also recommend Mon.itor.us, which is a free service or Monitis![]()
