1&1 with AWstats, PHP, mod_rewrite?

Looking at their Business Hosting package; 1 GB Web space, 10,000 MB/month traffic.... (£8.99p/m)

I usually use a dedicated server, but am looking to have this site hosted somewhere different, the site will be a .co.uk. My sites aren't image heavy and I can't see the bandwidth being a problem. I haven't registered the domain as yet, so will have no transfer problems.

Few questions:

Will I be able to use PHP ok?
Whats the mysql access like, do you get SSH access?
Is .htacess mod_rewrite enabled?
Does anyone use awstats on a 1&1 business package at the moment? I want to be able to install that, as it's what i'm used to using on my other sites.
Is there somewhere else, for a comparable price that I should be looking at instead?

If you goto the oneandone website and click on FAQs (somewhere near the top right) you'll find most of the answers your looking for under Advanced Scripting.

Hi,

We use 1&1 for our business website and yes the Mod rewrite is enabled.

I like having the SSH access as running cron jobs is brilliant to backup the MySQL databases automatically etc..

Yes, I meant Cron jobs on our business website, not on our business package, we have the Professional package.

Just from a marketing perspective, do you think it worthwhile for just £3pm extra getting double the features you currently have?

In response to the original message, I've now got AWstats up and running on my 1&1 business account too.

Having some probs with referrer data for some reason, although a couple of clickthroughs from my earlier post have shown up, clickthroughs I tested from another site of mine with another host didn't show.

Setup was pretty simple, but you do need to have a look at the raw log files for their format when changing the config file.
It's not one of the 4 standard ones apparently.
