The only benefit of having a keyword domain now is if linkers use it in their link text. Brand is much more important nowadays.

Ok.
I didnt want to enter into a debate about the plus's and minus's of domain names and so will offer the domains on appropiate sites instead of here.
Google is NOT the only search engine.
Googles results of late have changed and previous to "florida" the results would normally have shown the keyword domains first.
Know one knows if this will change but as you have shown the results at present are flakey.
Keywords and phrases in domain names will not instantly propel you to the top of the search engines but are another factor in helping to do this.

Even if keyword domains did help in some way why are your domains worth more than £3.00 when anyone could just go to 123-reg.co.uk and register the hyphenless weddinganniversary.uk.com or weddinganniversary.uk.net for £3 per year?

Quite simply because .uk.com and .uk.net are not a TLD. (top level domain) and hypens have consisistently given good search engine results.

I think since Florida, keyword domain names have become significantly less useful/valuable.

I would agree with that only on the commercial hit list, anything not on the commercial hit list, the old rules still apply.

I think the only real use of keyword domain names now is for visitor memory purposes

If you have loan site called:

"GetYourThangSortedOutToday.com" or" befuggleddwarf.com" etc

are you going to remeber them compared to :

"LoansForCreditLeppers.com"

when thinking again about it for a mate or cos you were only browsing the first time and didnt have time for an application I know which I would remember
