  UK hosting, use .com?

Quick Q before I set this up, I have the .co.uk and the .com version of the domian im using. I want to show in google UK results but as I understand as long as your hosted i nthe UK you will no matter what domain.

So Im hosted in the UK so would I be better off using the .co.uk or the .com?

Cheers

I would use the .co.uk and point the .com in, I wish I done this for a fair few of my sites back in the early days.. biggest reason is not just SEO but also the fact the USA claims it owns all .com domains and if someone has a problem with your name (such as breaks US copyright, trademark so on) they can take you to a court in Virginia.

I'm kinda in the same situation.

My site is UK focused at the moment although does have some content for US market.

Eventually my site will cater for the US just as equally as it does for the UK and then i'll make the uk site end in .co.uk and the US site end in .com and then cross link the two.

I hope this should be okay. If anyone knows any better please let me know.
