Question registering a domain that has ceased trading

hello!

got a question needs answering!

i found a cool domain name for a travel site I want to do...jumped in both feet first and back ordered it:

Got it.
found it has inbound links already....cool!

discovered it was a company who previosly ceased trading a few years back!.....ahhhh

will I have any problems opening the site back up for business trading as the "domain name"

just got this feeling I'll run into trouble somewhere?????

any thoughts?

do you know how the site closed and what for ? how long has the domain name not been ''live for'' ??

i would say you should have a bit of text saying that you are th enew owner of the site have nothing to do with the old owners. and if they still are after you let them contact the old domain admin. so they can then pass the customer/user on to the old owners if they are still around!

whats the domain name (if you will tell us!!!)
