  who allows .htaccess?
Having got to a point where I can't build websites without using .htacess. I came a cropper when my latest host donhost doesn't support/allow them. Be great to know if any other hosts don't - save wasting my time?

PS www.ehosting.co.uk are good, .htaccess and the rest, reliable and good support

It can be disabled in the Apache httpd.conf. Still thats a pretty basic requirement for most hosting.

Don't think Supanames allow you to use .htaccess files

I have a personal site hosted with them and I can use .htaccess files on it, but not od rewrite.
