  would you ?

would you touch a domain with .org.uk extension? A good one in a competitive area has come up. How do SEs treat these in comparison to others?

I don't have any actual experience, but I don't think search engines would treat them any differently (probably the same as having a .co.uk)....the problem is people remembering the actual extension.

This could be a problem for you as I assume the .com and .co.uk equivalents have already been taken.

There's over 4 million .org.uk's indexed by Google - http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...tf-8&q=.org.uk - so getting indexed and a good ranking would not be an issue if you know your SEO stuff.

Actually, looking at those results there's some good sites. If your website is actually a UK organisation, like those listed, then I'd probably go for it.
