  Advice needed on Hosting

Hi,

I am currently using www.123-reg.co.uk for my web hosting. My renewal is due at £50.

I have no issues with my current host at all. My website was down for about a day over the last year therefore I m happy.

My only problem is if my site growns I will have to move to Webfusion with is there sister site. I am currently running at 4GB of traffic a month out of my allowance of 5GB.

Can anyone recommend any decent hosting companies that allow a bigger allowance. I would also like better stats as I currently pay £2.50 a month to Extreme tracking.

I have looked at 1 to 1 hosting which looks okay...any feedback or advice would be welcome...

Best regards

Barry

at work they use hostroute on my recomendation. reseller accounts seem best value. I pay £19 a month for 20 sites, 10 gig bandwidth, 500 megs webspace per site all your usual stuff, php, sql. They use a £9 a month for 5 sites, all same stuff. you'll be paying a bit more but ive never had any major problems as yet.

come with awstats which is pretty and a few other things.

We would second that. We have an old style 5 slot reseller account, some individual accounts, and a dedicated server with them.

My last support requests:
29th Oct - Sent 10.49pm, answered 10.58pm
24th Oct - Sent 11.27pm, answered 11.53pm

Both were requests for explanations of things i did not understand - so hardly high priority.

I should add that Clarke has some useful services available through Paid On Results, you can earn good commission on what you pay then too.

Anybody got any other suggestions....

I've used easily.co.uk without problems in the past and they seem good.

I thought I'd try http://www.easyspace.co.uk - but am having a nightmare and already regretting it.... does anybody know what the situation is if you buy a domain name with one company (ie easyspace) and then buy the same domain name (because it's not showing as taken) with another company who is quicker and actioning the request.

What happens? Do you reckon I could get a refund?

  I Third That

Been with Hostroute for 1 year now, after moving from Easily. Far cheaper and far more superior. I to have a reseller account allowing 50 websites for less than £30 monthly.

Like Carl, had 2 requests this year, low priority and were answered with 15 mins.

Downtime has been about 30 minutes total in the whole year which aint bad at all.
