I am inviting offers for the domain pokeronline.co.uk. According to Overture the term "online poker" which it counts the same as "poker online" was searched for 306,475 times in January. This is compared to 92,867 searches for "poker".
Before anyone sends any offers it's fair to warn that I am not accepting anything under £50k. I have had offers up to that mark before but have held out as I think this domain is very valuable in the right hands.
If you would like to make a serious offer for over £50k then please send me a pm.
It's also worth pointing out that this domain is undeveloped and has no traffic, you are bidding on the domain name only.
regards,
Kieron

According to sedo it had 4 visitors a month hardly exciting. If you had a 50K offer you should have accepted.Originally posted by UKOffer

Davthp, as I have explained in the other post the domain is just that, a domain name only. It is not a website and has never been marketed as such. Type in traffic is almost non existent, I never said otherwise.Originally posted by davthp

Also the domain was only parked on Sedo for a couple of days before I put my own "for sale" page up. You will see however that it has had 586 views on Sedo in the last 32 days.
Besides that is irrelevant as it is the fact that it is a very very popular generic poker term which is where it's value lies. And no, I shouldn't have accepted the earlier offer as it wasn't the right time to sell. Since my post on this forum and others there have been a lot of parties expressing interest and I'm confident I that the asking price is both realistic and acheivable.

seems with domains some people have a hard time seeing the intrinsic value in a name
elsewhere in the forum laskos has just put "birthday.co.uk" up for offers over £60k...
is it worth it ? is it realistic.. ? well one thing for sure is that it will be worth it to the guy/company that pays £60k for it.
selling a domain name is as much about potential as it is about the here and now and the potential is limited by what YOU can do with it. ie...
with a domain like payandgo.com (for example) you could use it for maybe a mobile phone site and earn £30 a pop.. but imagine what orange or vodafone could do with it... as part of an advertising campaign.. to them it would be worth far more than it would be to you as their value/earnings per customer is so much higher than yours could ever be....
it's as much/often more about what you COULD do with a domain than what it's currently doing.
