I have a real quick question, I found a web design firm and they offered me a dedicated server with my package for $49.99/Month well $50.00 a month. Is that good price for dedicated server?
Is it a good deal for the hosting part? Any advice would be helpful

1) Where's the server located
2) Is it really dedicated or shared
3) What if any bandwidth does the deal include
4) Does it include any support/backup, if so is it suitable for your needs?
5) Is there a SLA (service level agreement) and is it suitable for your site?
6) Who fixes it when it breaks...

Who is responsible for the security of the server, if it gets compromised can people claim damages from you? Would you have to ensure that it is patched etc. Should your server be compromised by someone who sends unsolicited mail, do you have to plead to spamcop to stop blocking your IP address?
