    Am having problems today.

I've been told there may be BT backbone problems. (I'm not on fasthosts at all.) My sites are hosted by Verio.co.uk When I was at home this morning I connected via NTL & could access my websites but could not ftp, logon to my server, get POP email etc. When I phoned verio they said that other people who accessed via BT had problems - the servers are apparently fine. Now I'm in my office with BT as ISP I can access other sites BBC, this forum etc. but I now cannot access my own website.

Looks like it's a day doing my accounts!

Verio.uk were running a recorded message earlier saying there were communication problems they were trying to fix

We are still down ( BT Broadband) although server header checks and siteuptime.com via USA said all is OK

    No email or anything currently.

I got thru to Verio eventually & heard the message. Then I got an email from them (using www.mail2web.com) saying there were 'intermittant' connectivity problems - oh yeah! All dead here still apart from the occasional 'ping' getting thru. I may go home & see if it is any better via NTL. accounts are so boring...

Just talked to Verio - its a routing problem caused by BT they have no idea when it wil be fixed as outside their control - but BT acknowledge the problem as theirs. Probably only UK traffic affected - OK from USA

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately most of my visitors are in the UK - nearly zero sales today. Still Fridays are always quiet - Monday is my busiest day when they go back to work... I assume.
