  Meirhost Problems?

All my sites appear unreachable and wondered if any other Meirhost users of Server5 were aware of any problems since 11.23am today?

I'm on SV5 and it's the same. I've emailed David as the support site is down as well.

Just checked on WHM and the httpd service has failed - I think that usually just a case of stopping and starting the service so fingers crossed it won't be down long.

Hopefully followed by some RCA to ascertain what happened and ensure it doesn't happen again

Over 15 minutes now, so I'm guessing its not a simple stop start.....

Yeah, sadly I wanted to avoid moving what with the changing of nameservers, restores, backups, configurations etc etc especially when it comes to mySQL. However Mier problems are becoming far too frequent nowadays, and its causing a pain in the butt stopping/starting PPC campaigns and being on edge constantly.

As a 1 man band, I can't afford to go away on holiday without my laptop just incase there are hosting issues and I have to stop PPC campaigns. Kind of takes the whole idea of what being away on holiday means.

Shame as Meir have been very good in the past, but I am wondering about their dedicated servers as opposed to reseller accounts. Bit less of a headache than moving to another host... maybe....

The problem I've got with Meir is not the servers going down (although it is annoying) but the fact that we get no notification of what is going on.

i.e. we don't yet know if David is even working on this problem because we've had no email, there's no support site with a status page, or any contact method that is working.
