Meir Host down AGAIN

Appears that all sites are affected including Meir Host homepage. This is becoming almost a daily occurrance now with nothing being fed back by David or Meir Host which is very disappointing. I have monitors setup and minimum 5 times a week there is some sort of report, albeit only minutes, usually not during normal hours (note normal hours are different to affiliates hours )

Time to stop them PPC campaigns AGAIN before they cost a fortune and generate £0.00. I'm now tempted to start invoicing claims Meir Hosts way if it continues like this.

PS - anyone looking for recommendations, for now I would suggest they stay away from Meir Host until the issue is resolved - it maybe server specific. In the past they have been great, recently mediocre and lately pretty poor.

In an attempt to help resolve this issue, and going by all previous outages, I have suspended all my PPC Campaigns after nearly 2 hours of outage. In the past, this has resulted in all functionality returning within 5 minutes....

I can't ring Meir to see what the hell is going on as their own website is down and I don't have their phone number to hand

Sorry to hear you're having so many problems Frostie.

I was in exactly the same boat with another host (site5) recently and it nearly drove me mad.

The only solution I found was moving my sites elsewhere..

I have an account with Meirhost and I've had no problems. I wonder if it's the particular server you're on? Perhaps they could move your site(s) to a different one if you lean on them.

All my sites are still offline. I was originally on SV2 but due to issues on that server, was migrated to SV5 about 18mths ago with the idea that I wouldn't experience any problems. Sadly over the past 6 mths it hasn't been the case. In the meantime, just sit here in hope that either it will be fixed, or there will be some sort of communication.

Looks like its been a major problem, as the data showing on my website is out of date. By the looks of things only by a few hours but about 20 additional pages I created have vanished. Still we are almost back up and running

At the moment all my sites are up and meirhosting.net is down. I dunno what the server is called that my sites are on but it's IP address is 87.117.204.168.

I've not had any problems with sv7 today, but have with sv5, which is dissappointing, especially as i moved away from my other host because it was unreliable and i run both merchant and affiliate businesses from them!

In meirhosting's defence, i've had updates and help from David along the way today.
