Meirhost Server5 down?

Just been pinged that my site is no longer loading and wondered if any other Meirhost (server5) people were having issues today? Apparently its been down since 11:22am

Nothing loads for me

Once again their support site is also down so unable to raise a ticket or anything...

Hi mate,

yep - my sites were down from 11.22 to 11.43 - back up now but with database errors.

No word from Meir about the cause yet.

This is costing me a fortune

(although never had a problem with sv7, but always with sv5, no matter which host i've used...weird!)

The HTML parts of my site are fine but the blog is down

All my sites are mySQL driven so i guess thats why all of them are down.

Time to stop throwing lots of £'s at PPC blackhole again

me too - time to move to another host I'm afraid - the problem is the time it takes to migrate grrrrrr

Was going to say, my site on that server is html and csv driven, so not affected, although it is VERY SLOW tonight, consider traffic is not busy on it at this time! For me though, i can't expect 100% uptime with how cheap the hosting is.

Not being 100% I can live with, constant downtime I can't, I don't have huge traffic but my sites convert well with each visit. I lose several hundreds of pounds each time there is a major issue so I may as well fork out for a more reliable host if Meir can't keep the server going. C'mon Meir, don't make us move, we really do want to stay if you'll just sort out these issues. Unfortunately these threads are now starting to rank high and will start costing you new business:
