Namesco server issues???

Hello,

Anybody else affected by any issues with Namesco servers? I have VPS with them, and today mail services and FTP services are down. My websites are still up, but any php webpages display errors so something wrong there too!

Seems things are back up now anyway. Dissapointing really. Lost a little data today from one dB table used for statistics as far as I can see. May start looking around for another host when I get round to it.

Hi Don,

In future to avoid the data loss I'd suggest you to take backup of all your important data, files and databases on remote location. You should not completely depend on the hosting provider for the backup. If in case the server crashes or the hard drive fails then you may find yourself in an agonizing situation.

I've always found these guys good - especially the VPS support guys.

This is the first problem I have had with NamesCo for over 2 years, I dont think you should shoot them already.
