Stuff2send.com is the UK’s first “delivery community” portal. It puts people who need stuff taken anywhere in the UK in touch with couriers & ordinary drivers who plan to be driving there anyway. Like “liftshare”… but with items!

  • Every day millions of UK motorists with cars, taxis, vans and trucks drive all over the UK with empty space in their vehicles.

  • Thousands of others – at home or in offices – have stuff to send like parcels, furniture, removals… even themselves.

  • Stuff2Send connects the two. For a negotiated fee, let those driving somewhere take stuff you need to send there.


Stuff2Send is about more effiicent use of existing journeys, cheaper, more effective delivery and a community.

Flicking convential practise on it’s head, they allow senders to get carriers to come to them, saving the sender time, hassle, packaging and money. Sender broadcasts, carriers see and make them offers. Simple.

Big businesses are not their focus: their market is the home user (23m households in the UK) and small business, who find moving a (eg) mower they’ve sold on eBay, a right pain.

Launched at the end of Dec 2008, Stuff2Send have grown to over 1000 members in under 2 months, and have had over 400 items gone through their site.

Press has so far been excellent. they have been on radio 2, in the national daily papers, Sunday Times, as well as a host of specialist “transport” press.
