Welcome to our May newsletter...

While things may have seemed fairly quiet on the Regency Chess front there has been plenty of new developments going on behind the scenes. We are constantly aware of the need to improve and grow our product range.
We are in negotiations with two new suppliers with a view to introduce some exciting new product lines that will be aimed solely at high volume sales.

Social networking

As part of our continued brand expansion we have set up a facebook page and a twitter feed. Already our affiliates have started subscribing to the twitter feed. It's a great way to keep up to date with new website developments, new product releases and news. Find links to the facebook and twitter feeds on our homepage

Father's Day promotion

We are in the process of creating some Father's Day banners and discount codes which will be available on the network shortly. Many of our products represent the perfect gift and will make excellent Father's Day presents.

All affiliates will be contacted with details of the promotion once the graphics and codes have been created. We are also working hard to ensure that stocks are running high in anticipation of this key buying period.

Worldwide Shipping

We have started a new promotion on the website relating to our worldwide shipping options. This is now advertised prominently on our home page. We have competitive shipping rate to all of Europe, the USA and the rest of the world. At present the low value of the pound means that those buying in Dollars and Euros can make significant savings when they buy from us.

We are soon to add to our range of highly successful compact travel chess sets with some new exciting designs. These products are compact, lightweight and economically priced therefore making then ideal for worldwide shipping. We are also the sole EU based suppliers for many products including the white wood chess sets.

Commissions & Cookies

Our commission remains at 8% with a 10% rate for affiliates who generate more than ten sales per month. Our cookie length remains at 365 days. Our average basket value is currently still hovering around the £45 - £50 mark but is rising steadily as we add more and more products with higher price points.

By the end of 2009 we expect to have tripled the product range and extended our range to include products greater in value than £1000. Watch this space for updates on average basket values as they rise.

Program Growth

New affiliates are joining the program every week, we currently have over 150 affiliates and are pleased to see sales activity resulting from those who have recently joined the program.
