Maplin have just announced some new online voucher codes for affiliates to promote exclusively. The vouchers are:

£3 off orders over £30 - Code = delivery
£4 off orders over £50 - Code = mapxmas4
£6 off orders over £80 - Code = mapxmas6
£8 off orders over £100 - Code = mapxmas8
£12 off orders over £150 - Code = mapxmas12
£20 off orders over £250 - Code = mapxmas20

The codes can be entered at the checkout to redeem the offer and are valid until the 24th December.

Hi All,

I just wanted to make it clear if it wasn't advertised earlier, the commission for the use of any of these voucher codes is 2.5%. This is shown in the program settings of your Webgains account, the commission type for vouchers is 2.5%. Apologies if there was any doubt about this.

On another note, Maplin have increased their normal commission rate from now until the 24th December! So the default commission rate for all affiliates (bar any sales using a voucher) is now 5.5%, up from 4%. If you reach the second tier level in a month this is increased to 6%!

Hmmn, I've just had an email from AW saying those codes are not for affiliate use - ARE THEY OR NOT?

Hi Joe,

The vouchers work fine, I have tested them myself. I think the issue here is the lower commission rate for the use of vouchers, but I leave the decision to promote them or not up to the individual affiliate. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further clarification on this.
