Thread: 24Electric - Problems with Barclays EPDQ

    Morning,

    Our payment provider, Barclays EPDQ is experiencing intermittent problems with their website, meaning that card payments for our three websites are not being processed correctly. Barclays are working hard to rectify this fault and I will let you know as soon as they have fixed the issue.

    This means that you will have noticed a significant drop in the number of sales registering on TribalUK and 24Electric. Bennetts has not been affected quite so badly because we offer a range of payment methods (PayPal and Buy now pay later) also.

    Not the best of timing, but unfortunately it’s something beyond our control.

    Morning,

    Further to my email yesterday, I am pleased to tell you that Barclays EPDQ, our card payment provider, have fixed the issues they have been experiencing, and normal service has resumed!

    Unfortunately, due to the nature of the problem, 24Electric did NOT track any sales during the time Barclays EPDQ was down. This means that we have lost just over a days trading, which is not recoverable.

    Please accept our sincere apologies, the timing of this could not have been worse for any of us, but unfortunately it was a situation beyond our control.
