After the recent events in Haiti, we're once again helping the Disasters Emergency Committee raise awareness of the destruction and have relaunched the appeal program.
The last appeal was a great success and we're hoping we can repeat the great contribution in traffic we received the last time.
For more information, please visit our signup page.
As before, there is no commission payable on this program, so neither affiliates, Webgains nor the DEC themselves are actually making any money from this. It's simply a goodwill program to raise awareness and assist in a good cause.
Below I've included the program description and all of the creative has been updated today. The campaign will stop on 31 January 2010. Any traffic you could refer before then would be greatly appreciated.
The Disaster Emergency Commission constitutes 13 humanitarian charities that respond to international disasters, sending medical, food and shelter aid to areas of the world stricken by natural and man-made disasters.
We are sure you have all heard about the unfortunate catastrophic events that are happening over in Haiti due to the disastrous Earthquake that struck the country on Tuesday. Tens of thousands are feared dead and countless people still remain buried under rubble in the impoverished country. For those who have survived there are fears over the supply of food, water, shelter and medicine.
Reward
In short, the reward is knowing that we have helped people we are never going to meet in their darkest hour. We can offer no commission, no override, no reward - this is a charity appeal that we hope some affiliates will support us with.
Please give me a shout if you have any questions.
