No, but given the number of icodes users, it's good to see this raised in the public forum to hopefully prevent someone adding them and getting potentially invaild codes added to hundreds of sites in error.

I generally do use webgains support as you are probably aware, but can't see the harm in posting here something which may effect everyone considering it being the weekend and I wasn't expecting anything from webgains until Monday.

Our system pretty much relies on whatever is in the network feed is valid (considering IAB guidlines etc), and all these codes are listed in every users iCodes login area as "pending / need to be entered", and some have been entered already, and by Monday they may all be in circulation if those who enter them have no reasons not to assume they are invalid.

Those who don't use iCodes and use the network feeds direct will almost certainly have them on their sites already.

thing is - we could have actually looked into this over the weekend, if a support email or ticket had been raised.

Sorry Hero, I understand I should also have sent a support ticket, it was purely that it was the weekend, and that you had acknowledged the post which is why I didn't... i'll know in future.

At the moment we have decided to remove all codes and offers without valid dates from our pending lists, it appears to be a problem throughout a lot of networks, also magnified when merchants add codes / offers with dates such as 2015 etc and then don't remove them from the feed if they decide to expire them at their end.

It would be really helpful if such codes / offers had dates, even if the dates are days / weeks.. then extended if still valid... but certainly not simply ongoing / while stocks last / 2015 and leave them active forever.

Fair play to Lee for raising this. I've got a list of 123 voucher codes that have been given out by various merchants across different networks that I've checked and are now invalid. Some had no end date specified, some were 'whilst stocks last' and a handful with future dates.
As a code site owner I do check codes that have the potential to be suspect but it is time consuming as you have to create a login on the merchants site and go through the purchase process.
When I do find an expired code I volunteer this information into the icodes database.

Just to update those who were expecting a follow up on this - we notified Lee that the codes were all checked and actioned accordingly in the spreadsheet on 8/10.
