Affiliates will have seen an email go out yesterday from the Webgains team to notify you of the planned implementation of our Self Billing Agreement.

In case anyone hasn't checked their emails today, I've included a copy of the communication below. Basically, in order to stay on the right side of the taxman, we need affiliates to agree that we can issue self billing invoices on your behalf.

This isn't a new inclusion on the platform and most of you will have already agreed by clicking through on the big red alert box on your login pages.

If you haven't agreed, please could I urge you to do so by 30 August 2011 to ensure your payments continue to come through as normal.

If you don't have an alert box on your login page, it means you've already given your consent and there's nothing further you need to do. Sit back...relax...and watch the payments continue to come in.

In order to comply with tax authority regulations, Webgains has changed the procedure for issuing ‘Self Billing’ invoices to you.

Some time ago we introduced to the Webgains Platform an Agreement to issue these self-billing invoices, and your agreement not to issue duplicate invoices for the same services. Many of you have already accepted this Agreement and we now need to complete this process, so that we only pay those affiliates for whom we have an Agreement in place.

If you have not already opted in, please do so by accessing your account and viewing and accepting the Self Billing Agreement. The agreement is available through the red alert box on your account homepage.

Please be aware that completion of this initiative will come into force on 30 August 2011. Thereafter, Webgains will only be able to pay affiliates who have accepted the Agreement.
