Is the site down? I couldn't get into it last night or this morning.

Hi all
Over the last 14 hours we have been subject to a massive denial of service attack, where "massive" is at least 800MBit/s. The systems that we and rackspace (one of our 3 hosting providers that houses the www.webgains.com user interface) have in place can cope with the usual level of threat we see but not something on this scale.
The good news is that it has not affected our ad serving and tracking, only the login area. We have multiple servers across 3 separate data centres that perform the vital ad serving and tracking roles which allows us to cope with an attack of this kind.
Further good news, is that we have now put in place measure to mitigate the attack, even though it is still active; you can now login and use www.webgains.com as usual. For obvious security reasons I won't go into detail about what the new measures are but please do note that the public IP address for www.webgains.com has changed from 94.236.96.101 to 69.172.200.114.
Many readers of this forum will have suffered similar issues and are no doubt as angry at this sort of mindless vandalism as the rest of us. We want to be spending our time improving the network for you rather than dealing with these kinds of issues but that of course, is out of our hands.
My sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
Merry Christmas

It's OK here.
Hi Andrew,
Happy Christmas. I can't seem to replicate the issue, but will let our tech team know you were experiencing some difficulty logging in.
Thanks,
Emma
I am trying webgains today, and I still have no access.
Still no access for me now, this is getting ridiculous now, can't afford the time off..... Hope you don't lose my merchants over this :/
Hi all
As an unfortunate hangover from the Ddos attack outlined above we are passing all our logins for www.webgains.com through a DOS prevention service. It does a great job of protecting us but unfortunately it also sometimes gets false positives and shuts out genuine affiliates.
In the short term we can easily whitelist your ip block or address, just contact support@webgains.com or PM me. In the long term this won't be a problem as we will only be filtering users through the DOS prevention service as and when we need to. This should be done in the first few days of January.
My apologies for any inconvenience.
Happy New Year

I've been able to login using Webgains – Affiliate Network but not www.webgains.com. I emailed support and they told me there is no issue.
There seems to be a number of problems with the new site. In IE7 the login doesn't work at all as when you click on the "Login" link a "page mask" covers the web page that does not allow you access to any part of the web page. Do your developers test your web pages on various browsers?? or do they assume that everyone uses the same web browser that they do?? You need to test on old browsers as well as the latest, especially where IE is concerned.
For me Webgains is now very glitchy, slow and looks a mess in IE, but looks and works fine in Firefox.

I can't get into it via IE either. The login pop up box does not work in IE
I am able to login via Webgains – Affiliate Network with no problem, but not www.webgains.com (have to use google chrome and translate the website to English)
In Opera it works ok, but with google chrome I can't even load the uk website just the german one.
