Most of our merchants are in fact on prepayment, which is why we are able to make weekly payments to our affiliates.
Hi,
Agree with all the other comments aobve a great network that are very responsive to enquiries and quick to reply!
My wish for the network (as with many others) is that the merchants were pre-pay, therefore guareteeing payment within a set period of time - some merchants can take an awful long time to pay them.
Cheers,
Mark.

Also I just found out you can pick to be paid Monthly, so I set that up as it will cut down the paper work, ok 4 invoices via 1 a month not a lot but great they have the option
By the way I think it's great Webgains are doing what they can to pay Affiliates faster, however every Network suffers from the Merchants that think they can pay when ever they want. It's our job as Affiliates not to let these guys get away with that and help support the Networks by letting the Merchant know that taking 5 months (in the case of WIN great prizes) to pay an invoice is not on.
Having now started an affiliate program as a merchant on several networks I can safely say that so far Webgains have been the most impressive.
Set up was easy, low cost and after a month we are already performing really well.
If you are a merchant that is looking for a network I strongly recommend webgains.
They work on performance basis so they put allot of effort into making your program successful. Additionally, they do not charge extra for the account manager they assign you and they have an open communication policy and do not charge you for every email you send to your publishers.
These guys are certainly doing it right.
Somehow missed this thread up till now.... as an AM I wanted to say that I really like the approachability of Webgains. They are always easy to get hold of and react quickly to any issues that are raised. This is a real strong point I feel.![]()
Hi All,
I personnaly used to work with the hard core of the Webgains team a while back at Affiliate Window... so there is quite some history there![]()
I must say though that regardless of my history as a co-worker, according to me webgains have a great sense of who clients are.
It seems to me that a few other networks will do anything to get merchants onboard and to keep them happy... sometimes leaving the affiliates with leftovers. When will they learn???
Webgain' support is second to none: everyone is approachable, and the information from the account managers is both relevant & honest.
The interface is great too!
Payment terms are fantastic...
In short, it feels really good to be treated as a valued client, thanks guys!
Keep the good work and I hope you get more big names and top converters onboard soon!
Best,
Romain
just to add, that "I LOVE WG"!!!
excellent support, very helpfull (and proactive) and i am sure that everyone loves their cookieless tracking which has saved me a lot of fuss and "trouble"

I have always found everyone at Webgains to be proactive, communicative and generally very helpful and approachable.
They assisted us in what was a very smooth network switch and the program has gone from strength to strength each month, with WG on hand to provide any help and advice needed.
Fab job guys!!![]()

All in all i think webgains are amoung the best of the networks out there. If i send them a support ticket or an email, it's answered pretty quickly - and this is important to me. The choice of programs is good and improving all the time.
However, i must admit to some reservations recently. I have 700+ transactions that were written over 3 months ago that still havent been paid for, and the longer this goes on the larger the number of unpaid transactions gets - in just a few weeks i expect this number to double. Obviously ive spoken to webgains about this, and they give me the only answers they can - they'll pay me when the merchant/s pays them.
In my opinion this points out their week point compared to some other networks. The likes of AWIN and AF pay out on validated leads/sales irrelevant of whether the merchant has paid them - and this offers lots of security to affiliates.
Would love to see this sorted webgains....
I've just taken over the affiliate programme at Brighter Bathrooms (www.brighterbathrooms.com) and Sachin has been really helpful in explaining the process and how to best work with the affiliates. We did have a problem where we were told the incorect size for the promotional banners, which was very frustrating for our designer. We were also told they had to be 5kb which is just not realsitic with the images and content we wanted to include.
However, Sachin has organised some great affiliates for our site and always responds quickly to my queries. It's good to read that they are up to date with payments as we want to know our affilaites are being paid on time!
Laura.
I agree. I think webgains has a ton of things going for it, but it's frustrating to see hundreds of transactions, and lots of cash, sitting there for months before it gets paid out.
It's great that affiliates are paid weekly, but to make that worthwhile, surely merchants should be billed, and made to pay, weekly as well. That way the cash would get where it's supposed to be.
All in all though an excellent affiliate network with very good communication with affiliates.

Hopefully will be receiving my first affiliate cheque in the post from the next run which I believe to be tomorrow. From Ireland so have to reach £100 threshold before I receive any money.
Hopfully will be the first of many cheques from webgains.![]()
Keep up the good work.

Hi
Webgains looks good, and I like the idea of cookieless tracking.
I met some of the guys at an A4u gathering and was 'impressed'.
Right now, I'm trying to promote one of the merchants, but it
doesn't look there's an area for specific promotions (I know
TD do this).
Am I right in thinking that you don't have a promotions area
within Webgains?

Got a big (or small) decision to make?
Let Choose It! help you. Or, visit the

Hi Steve,
We don't have a dedicated section yet within the affiliate interface, but it is in the pipeline for development and I expect we should have that shortly. In the mean time, we communicate all our merchants' promotions through the forum's dedicated section as well as through the WG section of the forum and via emails to the program's affiliates.
Hope this helps
