thanks for the suggestion, pandadragon. Until such a solution is available, you could use the callback script (Account-->Settings-->Callback Details) to get notifications on new transactions and changes to your commissions

Great support and i like the interface.

My only gripe is when merchants send out emails they should include your code for the promotion instead of having to look at source of email as i was told to do. The way linkshare do it is perfect imho.

just to clarify about the emails - adding the tracking code in the email very much depends on the email. We provide the facility for merchants to include the tracking code in the provided links personalised automatically for each affiliate, and quite a few of our merchants use it when sending out their affiliate newsletters. However, that cannot be used when we distribute the merchant's customer newsletters, which are also uploaded as email links, as is understandable. But, all the emails sent from our interface have the tracking codes in all urls created for each affiliate on the back end, so all you would need to do is grab the html behind it if you don't want to use the text/deep link generator in the interface.

    Hi KPR,

You can right click and select "view source" which will show the code of the email. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Well, it depends on the format of the email; if it is a html email you should be able to view the source. I am unsure of any settings in Outlook you can change to allow this. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

After much deliberation (http://www.affiliates4u.com/forums/a...-network.html), I chose to go with WebGains and I'm very glad I did.

Good interface. Super staff and support. Very professional.

    Keep up the good work.

    • Very good staff & support, & genuinely nice people, who you would happily share a jar with.
    • I feel like I am dealing with real people who have an opinion of their own, not a corporate spec'd one.
    • Being available on msn is very convenient
    • More noticebly than any network they give you adequate notice of program closures, suspensions & keyword policy changes.
    • What I would like to see is that now they have the quantity of merchants, is to create a really good API Product Feed solution (with accurate results after a search query) plus something in a similar vein to shopwindow (AW) / myshop (TD) style product. I think that should be their priority early this year to take them another rung up the ladder.

I noticed no one from webgains commented on this post:

However, i must admit to some reservations recently. I have 700+ transactions that were written over 3 months ago that still havent been paid for, and the longer this goes on the larger the number of unpaid transactions gets - in just a few weeks i expect this number to double. Obviously ive spoken to webgains about this, and they give me the only answers they can - they'll pay me when the merchant/s pays them.

In my opinion this points out their week point compared to some other networks. The likes of AWIN and AF pay out on validated leads/sales irrelevant of whether the merchant has paid them - and this offers lots of security to affiliates.

Would love to see this sorted webgains....

Carl has been working with us since pretty much the day we launched and has continued to do so during & after the issue you're referring to (1.5 years ago) where it unfortunately took longer to receive payment from the particular merchant. This is not the norm, but the exception to the rule. We strive to ensure our programs are on prepay so as to prevent delays and release the affiliates' commission fast and promptly. Indeed, the vast majority of our programs are on prepay. All programs are clearly marked reayment terms, prepay or account, and you can choose whether to promote them or not based on this.

Hope this helps, please don't hesitate to contact me for further information
