Hi, well I am new, I thought the website was clear with great colour choices, my only niggle at the moment was signing in as I had registered a couple of domains, when I signed up for a merchant today I suddenly realised I had done it under the wrong domain as I never realised there was a drop down box in the top left hand corner with the domains, this was the first time that I couldn't register my domains and yet trade under one log in, if that makes sense, probably not but I know what I meant, somebody else who uses other affiliates might as well, anyway only my feedback from me, thanks

    Hi there,

We have no problem with you joining programs to promote on multiple URLs within one campaign. The facility is there to assist you with your reporting but you aren't obligated to use it. Please let me know if there's anything else we can help you with.

My fave network. Helpful staff with good communication. Interface is well thought out - transaction and reporting info quick and easy to see across all campaigns. Some very good niche merchants and product feeds are better than most.

Just one request from someone who deeplinks a lot. A target="_blank" feature on the deeplink generator to save an extra half second.:drool

I look forward to you poaching some more of the big brands...

    Hi Struart,
We've now added your suggestion to the deeplink generator for you and all affiliates to use. Thanks for your feedback and please do keep it coming.

P.S. I hope you voted for us as your favourite network!

Im new to webgains and wish the larger networks were as proactive/helpful as you where. Also great site, that works well on mobile, some networks could learn a lot from it!

I'm Looking into what other brands you work with so i can work with you more!

Just another little suggestion for the interface area :-)

It would be great to have an overview of the days clicks through the various merchants across all campaigns - similar to the links on the AW main page. I know you can get to a similar report with a bit of clicking, but maybe a 'see all clicks today and where they went' report link would be useful to some?:drool

We are actually planning an upgrade to our reporting and this will indeed be included.

Pleased to hear it - I was thinking about this yesterday as I couldn't find any way of getting it to show otherwise!

Well, as a new affiliate to the network (which incidentally I should have joined ages ago !) I'd like to say what a pleasure it was to use the interface, all the way from initial signing up to having a look at datafeeds. 2 merchants that I missed completely will be going straight into our pages.

In fact, I almost fell off my chair when I discovered the datafeed test status boxes - not just saying 'OK' but actually some detail in there. I've always thought networks should have something like that, rather than just saying 'we test regularly' or similar.

You must have someone there that's a bit keen on useability

    My Two Cents:

PROS: Great support structure, rapid responses, good payment history, easy to use

CONS: Poor content creatives, poor record of merchants updating linkage, poor selection of mainstream retailers, frustrating niggles with campaign set-ups, reporting structure needs a rethink, EPI tracking is weak.

Thanks for your feedback Darren. Can you drop me a quick email with the issues you're having with campaign set-up and I'll look into it for you.

As Hero has mentioned, we're making changes to our reporting system so you should see some improvements there.

If there are any merchants who you'd like content creative for then we'd be more than happy to request this for you. Again, drop me a quick email with the details and we'll request this for you.

    Thanks

Just to address the cons you list:

content creatives: you can create your own content units from products in the feeds and there is also the iSense adcreator which automatically matches up products that fit with your page's content. There are also some ready-made content units from merchants, although I appreciate the selection is not very wide.

Updated links: we try our hardest to get the merchants to update them. However, it is the product links that generate the sales and that's our primary focus, to ensure feeds are of high quality. We are always happy to receive requests from affiliates which we feed back to merchants - makes for a great pressure point!

mainstream retailers: we are working on that, however our goal has always been to introduce new merchants to the industry as there is far greater potential for affiliates and these merchants are actually more interested in working with their affiliates

campaign setups: would like to get a better understanding of what you mean so I can look further into it

reporting: we are in the middle of a major upgrade

EPI tracking: again, could use with some more info on the problem and what you need from us. There is our webservice, the callback scripts, scheduled reports sent by email, remote datafeeds, but I'm interested in finding out more on what you are after

Please do drop me an email at hero@webgains or grab me on MSN so we can chat further.

    Cheers

I have worked with a number of the Webgains Account managers in the past and they are all fantastic which is why it wouldnt be fair of me to single them out by name (Sophia, Emma, Nicky, David, Sachin, Hero, Tom) lol. Congrats on your first Anniversary!
