Thedoghouse.co.uk - Commission + cookie change

Hi all,

We have altered the structure of Thedoghouse.co.uk 's program. From now on new affiliates will start on a base rate of 10% with a 365 day Cookie. All affiliates will be dealt with on an individual basis and any commission inceases will be based on a wide range of criteria beyond simple number of sales as things currently are. We will be looking to work closely with all our affiliates to help them maximise their potential and reward them well for it!

All existing affiliates will stay on the same commission structure they signed up to, we will not change this without consultation on an individual basis. Basically this program was set up with high commissions and those simply cannot be maintained across the board going foward. I would love it if we could! As such I have decided to set the base rate at 10% with a longer cookie date for all new affiliates and then decide on a case by case basis where someone deserves an upgrade, this will offer greater flexibility to you and also more incentive on both sides for us to work well together.

As I say though we will not change the deals of our existing affiliates for the time being. Going foward we may well be looking at various strategies but this will all be done openly, with consultation and we will not suddenly impose changes without talking to you about it.

I want to work with you guys not against you, that's the bottom line.

Oh, and as a sign of my affection I have also increased all existing affiliates cookie length to 90 days
