Just to let you all know that at envirofone.com we have reached a great milestone today - since our launch in March 2006 we have now paid out over £1 million to mobile phone recyclers and that excludes the £175,000 paid out to charities, affiliates and business partners.

As many of you will now our affiliates have been a great help to us and we hope to pay out a further £3 million in the next year.

Hi Andrea,

It's pretty simple really - everyone who trades in their old mobiles can opt for us to make a small doantion to charity - it does not affect the amount they are paid or the amount we pay affiliates. We list a number of charities we work with and we try and rotate these every so often. Some of our biggest recipients are The Manchester New Childrens Hospital and Help the Hospices.

We really want to use our affiliate network to get to the £3 million mark as soon as possible so if you know anyone who wants to give cash away point them in our direction - after all their is a market of 80 million just in the UK.
