Interesting development - only a couple of days after Affiliate Window did almost exactly the same thing....
Good development - just hope it's not a Ferrari/Mclaren situation.....![]()
Webgains Launch Affiliate Categorisation
Over the last few months, we've tried to focus on making communication with our affiliates more meaningful. Then it dawned on us, why not ask you to tell us what types of merchants you're interested in hearing about and the methods you use to promote those merchants.
So the idea of an affiliate categorisation system was born.
The idea is for you to be able to pick which types of merchants you're interested in and your marketing methods (PPC, email etc) and we'll be able to contact you with relevant information.
We will use the information you provide to:
- To update you on changes to programs in your chosen categories
- To keep you informed of incentives, promotions and bonuses being offered by current merchants
- To alert you to new programs launching either on the network or in your chosen categories
When you next login to your account, you will see the categorisation announcement on the homepage. Simply click the big red button and you're away. The whole process shouldn't take longer than 2 minutes to complete. (The announcement disappears once the categorisation process is complete).
Hopefully, this will lead to much more productive communication between us.
If you have any questions or feedback on the categorisation process, feel free to post it here or contact me directly.
Happy categorising

I wasn't implying anything - just making a tongue in cheek observation on a Friday afternoon.
lol...our development guys are fast but have nothing on Mclaren. I reckon its more like a "great minds think alike" situation...although seeing as its Friday I can't guarantee how great my mind is ATM...Good development - just hope it's not a Ferrari/Mclaren situation![]()
