as most networks will reply to you in all the threads you started, these figures are only a rough guide and should not be taken as an accurate prediction of what you should expect to earn. It's an indication of the program's potential, and obviously represents an average performance - some affiliates are performing better, some worse.
You will also hear that these figures don't disclose how the program is being promoted and what the figures are for a particular marketing affiliate activite - ppc, cashback, content, email etc. Which is true, but then again, no affiliate engages solely in one activity so as to have accurate figures.
The figures you see on Webgains are 3-month old data for each program once it has been live for 3 months, based on valid sales only, across all affiliate activity (not just the top 5-10 affiliates), no embelishments & fiddling with by removing non performing affiliates.
