Hi Andrew,
I have been a supporter of the Splash Plastic programme (you tend to be a supporter when a programme generates good commissions for you) but I have just received an e-mail from you which states that Splash are looking to change their PPC Policy rom January 2008.
I am comfortable with this but wish to enquire if any of the recent cancellations are a result of the new policy being applied as a result of their starter packs.
The fact is that the prepaid space is expensive in terms of bidding on Keywords and I'd like to know how Splash are planning to compensate PPC affiliates like myself who are spending funds bidding on keywords which can range from around £0.50 to £2.50 for prime position. If someone has bought a starter pack and use my link to activate it, how do Splash plan to compensate me - it is not really an error on my side not to have forseen this issue arising. Everytime someone clicks on my link, it still costs me and I dont have Google compensating me and I still have agreements in place with my Search team which means I am committed to a spend till the end of January.
So eessentially, please find out from Splash if they will refrain from any cancellations based on their starter packs till the time the new PPC Policy comes in place or they stand to lose my business and that of other PPC affiliates over the busy christams period and I would reckong this could be as much as 50% of their total sales!
I look forward to your response.
Kind regards
Yoram
