Good afternoon,

I’d like to introduce to you the new affiliate manager for the Venture Sport program on Webgains, Neil Park:

We would like to thank you for your continued support of the program over the past year and a half and look forward to working with you in the future.

Over the last six months Venture Sport has been working extensively on a complete overhaul of their service, stock range, delivery and prices and feel they are now better than ever before.

Just some of the new reassurances we can make to you are:

• Online live stock control – the products you see on the website are in the warehouse ready to go
• 98% of orders are dispatched within 24 hours of receipt
• Telephone support between 9am - 5:30pm 7 days per week
• Competitive pricing

We have also made some big improvements to our program in the hope that this will give you the confidence to come on board fully and give us an extra push this year!

Some of these benefits include:

• Brand new creative ready for you to download
• Leakage points addressed by removal of the phone number on the homepage
• Clearer delivery and stock availability information
• Brand new stock lines for 08
• Better affiliate communication planned including regular best seller lists
• Availability of company e shots for your use
• Launch of content units
• Regular communication via the forum and affiliate console
• Regular customer incentives
• Seasonal competitions for affiliates

In the original program launch with Webgains, we offered a tiered commission structure with an introductory offer of 10% on commissions for the first year. We have extended this offer for a number of extra months but have decided it is time to bring this offer to an end. However, we have also revisited the tiered commission structure and decided that we wanted to give you all a better deal ongoing!

With this is mind we are looking to erase the lower tiers of the original commission structure and implement a lowest tier of 8% conversion rate across all sales regardless of volume. There will also be higher conversion rates available for the affiliates that drive us larger levels of sales.

Dear Affiliates,

I am pleased to say a few of you have made contact with me and I hope to use your comments to make further improvments to the campaign. Below are some replies to the most asked questions.

North Face. They did not let us offer our customer the best prices so we are no longer dealing with this company. We have however, taken on some new brands such as Mountain Hardwear, Haglofs, Rab and Montane

Vouchers. We are making some amendments to our software to allow voucher codes. I have a techie working on this and hopefully I will be back to you shortly with further details.
