They understand that people find it difficult to ask for help with their debt and therefore take them through a simple process as quickly as possible.

They agree with the customer a single monthly payment that they can afford (the lowest being £100) and contact their creditors the same day to stop any telephone calls, court/bailiff action etc. They will then negotiate with the creditors to accept a reduced payment and freeze interest and charges if possible.
