Traffic exchanges

I'm new to the world of affiliate marketing, and having got my site up and running, I am going to do some offline marketing, but am also interested in the traffic exchanges. I've registered with trafficzap, but am keen to register with some of the UK based ones i.e. popexchange, xithits etc. however before I spend the time I was wondering whether anybody had feedback on the use of such exchanges, and potentially which ones are considered the best.

Any help much appreciated.

Popexchange seems to have serious difficulties in delivering back anywhere near the level of traffic you earn.

Well its 01.28am the days over.

They still owe me hundreds of 'hits'. Haven't received one for over a week.

Forget it.

Yep I dropped em already.

You know their ripping ppl of blind the guy owns ebid and hes quite happy for us to send 80% of all the pops generated to ebid but he dosent have the decency to give em back on ebid.

Do any of these traffic-exchanges *really* work?

I do not trust any "put pressure on your website" offers of people that pretend to sell quality traffic.

I am not interested in buying traffic nor in selling traffic.
