Link Exchange With Recipe Monster

I'm launching a new site called www.recipe-monster.com and as you may have guessed its a recipe site, at the moment it has no ranking or traffic.

Anyone fancy a link exchange with me, im looking for high ranking sites with lots of traffic and who my site could complement, Recipe Monster will be fully operational within the next 2 weeks and i'm looking at this link trade as a permanent partnership...

I'm only looking for 3 or 4 "UK partner" sites so i'll pick the best of the applicants ..

havin all on getting links recip'd lately...loadsa b@$7@£&s out there that take the pee and don't even reply to link swaps when they cleary say on site...links recip'd etc...

This is a genuine offer, my site will not be covered in ads and im only looking for partners, people with sites who can help boost my site now its in launch phase/next year/5 years time and in return i'm offering a permanent link on my links page - this will have a maximum of 5 good sites.

Its a gamble and yes i've been burned in the past with terrible exchanges, but theres no harm in asking, anyway the offers still open and like i say i only want sites that will gain by linking to me as a non competing benefit to their existing visitors and i only want to link to the same..

I'm not spamming anyone i'm just putting up an offer, if anyones up for it, i want to discuss with them and make sure we're both going to get something out of it now and going forward.

Well to be honest it was semi humour and semi if you do find anyone ...let me know..

You have to look at it like this..what can you offer the other site...at the moment if you have next to no traffic and no PR rating then basically you can't offer them anything tangible really.

we all like to link to better sites if we can but if you are a better site then you try not to link to lesser sites or else your PR leeches away.

And that's the way it is, there's nothing personal about it, even in here, you can chat to someone for months and they will still refuse a link if you can't offer them anything other than good intentions.

I know how you are thinking..your site is going all the way to the top, which is the way to think about it but...whilst it's getting there then you are relying on other people's "charity" linkwise, as they are getting nowt tangible in return...

so wasn't been arsey or funny..it's just common sense for most of us..we try to link to better sites without giving away PR by linking to lesser sites...once you are there...you'll think same way...if you are PR 4 you'll be after 4+ links...when You are PR 6 it'll be PR 6+ links, and if a PR 0 asked for a link..you'd just go...nah sorry get some PR and ask again..

anyway nuff typin...if you got some links then well done, if you didn't then try for less savvy webmasters..who have good PR but know nowt about it...
