I think the question is paying for a link from a PR9 not to have a PR9

Yeh, but how would you get a PR9 site in the first place?

No idea, I was thinking per month because if it was one off then that's way to cheap.

One could be to give free hosting to sites, Rackshack gave free hosting to php.net and now www.php.net are a PR10 !!

90% of the companies that we used for free hosting have closed down.

It is no longer viable as a business model.

You would be deluged with hundreds of thousands of webmasters wanting free hosting as most free webhosting companies have terminated their service or place huge adverts on users' pages.

Sure, running a free hosting service is a waste of time.

But thats not what I meant.. if you could get a link from a PR10 site like php.net wouldnt you go out and buy a donkeys quadruple gigawibble box and say hey mr. pr10 site you can have that box for free for a link back.

Can anyone name more then 10 sites that have a PR10 excluding google and dmoz?
