Was surfin today and noticed fark.com...PR8 offer random front page links from $25 for a week..
Fark..blurb below....

Put your links into rotation in front of 3,000,000 page views per week
Five random links per minute will display on the main Fark page in the sidebar.
$10 for a fun message-type link. Examples: birth announcements, personal ads, eBay auctions, messages to other Farkers
$25 for a link to your own content-driven website. Examples: i-mockery.com, x-entertainment.com, morons.org
$75 for a link to an e-commerce website
$100 for a Not Safe For Work link (because these get 5-7x hits)


altho i presume that the link wouldn't be picked up by google or anyfink if it's rotated as it'd be from a pool of ad links residing somewhere else....am I wrong?

Actually got a link on there a couple of months ago, sent us shedloads of traffic.

Not sure if the ads at the side get clicked on.

PR benifit, not sure if google will follow the link, if it does it would probably be random which ad gets the PR.

Try emailing some of the advertisers and ask, or run a short series to test it.
