I just visited this site by chance and found it to be very interesting. It offers website stats but it actually tells you what city/region in the UK/USA you're visitors are coming from. Also you can display different banners on you're site depending on where your particular visitor is from, for example it will say something like "We're in visitors location too" which I think would be a good way to get more clicks from your ad's.

Obviously there is a fee involved, check out there demo on site.

I've been looking into this today and there is a one data supplier, MaxMind, who offer a free data file and API for getting the Country from the IP address. You can find details here:- www.maxmind.com/app/standard

The free databases are derived from APNIC, ARIN, LACNIC, and RIPE WHOIS. They also do data sources containing City data for $75/month.

I've been playing with the Pure PHP module and it is amazing ly simple and easy to integrate (and quick).

It also integrates with phpAdsNew to allow you to target adverts to the country of the visitor. I'm using this on an international site I'm developing.
