Hi mate couldnt get hold of you last night but left you an icq did you get it ok it was quite important?

Not sure, last one I got was the horse and race has changed.. Please don't say it's a donkey as the members all think they have a strong win with that today.

By the way ICQ is a bit crap if I am offline I have noticed, got some 300+ people on it and I think it has a limit for offline messages, if in doubt email me

Does betting on a horse "each way" mean that it has to get a place?

Betting Each Way means that it doesn't have to win, and depending on how many horses are in the race it can come in any place from 1st to 4th.
Remember that if you want to put £5 on a horse Each way the bet will cost you £10.

yes 1st or 2nd in a race with 5 or more

8 or more you can have 3rd

and 16 or more in a handicap and you can have 4th

but bet365 sometimes let you have 5th as well on certain races

You normally get quarter odds or 1/5th odds for a place so its only really worth it if the horse is above 8-1 but if it wins then you get the win at 8-1 and the place at 1/4 odds 8-1 so it can work out real nice
