My Link Exchange Site Done.....at last

After a couple of months of nagging at Jon (other half) he's finished off UK Link Exchange.

Its not really there to make lots of money but to help me and Jon find link exchanges a little easier and also help others find 'em too!

Its a bit different to other sites as it look quite nice and its works by using a private inbox to recieve link exchanges.

Web designers can also submit as many websites as they like under the same account and manage all the accounts from a "My Sites" page.

Exchange requests are as simle as clicking a button and sending a private message.

There's probably quite a bit of work still to do but the site in general is finished.

Feel free to join as there are not many sites in the exchange directory at the moment (only went live today).

Any feedback on the idea would be great.

Took a look, liked it.
I was signing up but I didn't because I don't think my date of birth should be a compulsory field, if people need to be over 18 or whatever, a simple check box can deal with that.
Sort that and I'll give it a try.

Great to see a UK link exchange directory - well done!
However I tried to visit the site this morning at 8:30 and it is not responding.

The server i was fetching the ads from has problems and as the ad at the top didn;t appear neather did the rest of the page.

Ads should come from the same server later today....i hope.

One enhancement for you to consider:
My site was approved this morning (thank you) however I noticed a typo in my description. After modifying it my site was removed from the list of sites in my chosen category. It would be better if the site stayed in the list but with the old details until the new changes are accepted.

Still a great site though and just the kind of thing the UK needs to catch up with the U.S.

Compare, thanks for spotting that. When editing a site it was setting the site to unapproved which was not meant to happen. It doesn;t need to be re-approved when editing.......

Fixed now and re-approved
