Not sure what you mean, but you have 3,390 pages indexed which is quite reasonable.

If you mean for the term "birthday" then the most obvious thing is your PR. All the sites on the first 2 pages have higher PR then you, another factor maybe the age of your site.

You might find it easy to get indexed on Dmoz with your domain, have you tried?

PR is not what is was. But sites with a higher PR do and will appear higher in the index. Theres lots of Myths about PR, affiliate links and using datafeeds. Regardless of all that you just need more backlinks and your site to have been around for a while.

1) Review your code. You have unmercifully screwed up the PHP include, you've got 2 <HTML> elements, and the home page trails off with </script>. Major f*ckup. Fix it
2) Get a URL rewrite module. I'm sure PHP has a few free URL rewrite mods out there. Get rid of the page.php?parameter=value type links, rewrite them as ...co.uk/parameter/value, or something. Even G doesn't *like* dynamic pages, and right now you are offering them very little incentive to bother trying. A lot of your pages are listed using the
http://www.birthday.co.uk/shopping/f...kids_uk.php?ca...
Similar pages

... format, which indicates that G hasn't bothered to crawl a load of your pages, although it has seen the links.
3) Get some links from outside your spammy link farm. Forum sig links from Acorn Domains and domain holding page links from your domain portfolio does NOT count as a link building campaign

>. what do you mean spammy link farm ??

Based on the results of a link: search on Yahoo, th eliste ddomain only has links from domains you own (the SEs can see this info, and work out for themselves how valuable those links are : virtually nil), and forum sigs, another classic "spam link" flag.

>> maybe i was told wrong

I'm sorry to say, it sounds like it. You need to learn to think like a search engineer : if you saw a site that only had links from other sites that were owned by the same person, and from forum sigs (a known, easily detectable spam technique), how highly would you rate the domain? It's content is immaterial in this case; if it links like spam....

I'd suggest getting the code fixes in place, beginning a gradual link-building campaign, and considering acquiring / creating some more unique content. Search engines love it
