do paid banners on this site bring in business

Evening,

I have just brought a banners and a few message spaces in up and coming newsletters on affiliates4u, just checking if any one has try it before and had a good result.

I'm having a big push with 15% commission and I am trying new ideas. I might do sign-up to Preventx via Affiliate futures and show a banner on the homepage for 21 days to get a free virgin music vochure, eg first 100 to apply!

Or get over £300 in sales for Auguest to get a free apple ipod, but was unsure if most affiliates are 1 man bands or 3 or 4 people becuase u can't spilt a ipod very well.

I know this is a old post, but I have made the big step and splashed out on a banner on this site, should be up above, seems to be working really well, getting 5-6 affiliates sign up a day.

Second job get them active by incentives.

May have had more success if the Preventx site worked properly. I tried adding a Preventx link I picked up at AF to my site and it went to a page with an error message on it. Sent the link to AF and they agreed the link was not working. So I put a link up to another advertiser instead.

P.S. A few days later and the link still produces a page with an error message.

Just out of interest where on A4u did you find the pricing for top banner advertising???
I see pricing for newsletter advertising at http://www.a4uforum.co.uk/ads/ but no mention of actual on site advertising
