High Traffic Forums Which Accept Signatures

Hi All

I am going to try and compile a list of high traffic forums which will accept members using signatures to promote their affiliate sites. I do not wish to help spammers, but I feel as affiliate site owners it would be handy to know of some of the most popular internet forums that don't mind if members use a sensible (say max 3 lines) signature.

Please post here about the ones you know about.

Cheers

And what is the actual difference between that and spam may i ask? Joing a forum specifically to promote links in your signature is no different to a spammer signing up to post links in his or her signature, or am i missing something?

Personally speaking I wouldn't join unless I felt I could make a valuable contribution (like to this forum hopefully).

However, I understand where you're coming from, but having to deal with spammers is the price forum owners have to pay for promoting the forum I guess. Certainly forum spamming is not something I would encourage. I have found that spammers find forums anyway, even if you haven't promoted it.

I agree that this is generally spamming.

Please also note that 99.9999% of these forums use the no-follow tag for forum sigs. Therefore it won't help your ranking etc....

However, it can be a good way to get an initial boost of traffic..... visit my blog
