CD Rom promotion

I'm currently looking at getting a CD Rom promotion together . Has anybody tried this before, what sort of results did you get . Most of all can anyone advise on the technical side of putting a web site onto CD Rom including links .
If anybody can help or advise I would be very grateful .

What kind of information do you want to put onto a CD? An entire site?

Thanks for the link just what I needed. Sorry for delay in responding been away for a few days relaxing before all night sessions to get next promotion out, which includes this web cd. Thanks again and i'll be sure to post results good or bad.
