Viral marketing idea

Had an idea about writing a noddy little mobile phone game. Issuing it for free and including my website address as part of some sort of splash screen.

Does anybody think this idea has legs?

Good idea and if you sent it as an MMS/WAP Push message the recipients would be able to click straight to your site on their phone.

If you can tie it to a popular news story then yes. Politics and sport can be good topics. Or big soap opera stories. You may as well release a browser based PC version too, as you'll probably get a lot more clickthrus from that.
