Link Exchange -- Link Market

Hi everybody,

I am confused about link exchange. As all we know link popularity is a big fact on PR. Do you think is it necessary to get membership from a link farm lets say http://www.linkmarket.net/. Will it boost my sites popularity? Or should I use something else than linkmarket? or is there any better and bigger link farms, link exchange directories or services?

The answer lies in the question. Link farms are usually considered "bad neighbourhoods"

I don't know exactly what you are trying to say, but you're wrong in any case. Link popularity and PR are related, but raw PR isn't a good indicator of how well your site will do.

Building / buying quality links will help, but that's a bit trickier than signing up for a link farm. What will work best for you will depend on what kind of site you want to promote

I was a member of http://www.linkmarket.net/ and it was quite useful when building reciprocal links but its probably just best to try it for free first. A lot of the websites listed on linkmarket do not return links and/or are banned from google so keep check.

I have hard time to understand link market, you said you was a member before tell me how it really work, I receive some requests I fulfill request I put their link onto website but I cant find mine on theirs.

When you click on 'Respond' in the Job Type column in Current Jobs the other webmasters link page is listed there. Linkmarket.net checks if they've added your link but you have to manually keep check to see if they remove your link.

This is the problem with Linkmarket.net, even when you upgrade to a full member it still doesn't seem to automatically check if your link partner has removed your link.

If you have sent the link request then the other webmaster has approx 30-50 days to add your link. That should be well reduced too.

In this case is there any alternatives instead of link market?

Install a certain FREE reciprocal links directory that does automatically check reciprocal links every month and add your linkmarket links details through this system.

Also do a search on google for other websites exchanging links in your subject area eg. 'yoursubject link exchange' or 'yoursubject links directory' and you will get a load of websites that may be willing to exchange links with you.

Its a long boring process but it does work.

You could uy links at Text-Link-Ads but the effect this now has with Google in relation to PR is questionable...
