  Affiliate Program

I have an affiliate program which i use through Affiliate Future:
I have contacted many companies trying to promote it to them, however i just dont seem to get any success.
The affiliates that i currently have are making a fare bit of money but i dont know why people are reluctant to join.

This is what is displayed on my affiliate page on my website:

We at VivaVibrators.co.uk value all our affiliates. We have joined up with a leading affiliate management company AffiliateFuture.co.uk to provide the most efficient and reliable affiliate program that we can to all our affiliates.

As a company we look after our customers too providing them the best customer service, offer them next day delivery, good quality and a good variety of toys.

This money making opportunity will cost you nothing to join and every time a customer comes from your site to ours and makes an order you will receive 20% of the total amount that is spent.

The more people you get to come to our website the more money you make.

20% commission of every order.
UK based company.
Fast and reliable monthly payouts.
Payment in pounds, sterling.
Online independent tracking.
24/7 live real time stats.
Dedicated account support.
Outstanding customer service.
How do I start?

Simple, visit the link below, register, then join the VivaVibrators.co.uk program. Use text links or banners, and insert the code into your pages. Then, point customers to the link, and start earning instantly.

Am i missing something out because going by my current affiliates, new affiliates could earn a lot of money from this.

Any suggestions or ideas on how i can promote this better and emphasise how much they are likely to make.
I dont want to mention how much my current affiliates are making on average on there as i think thats unfair so i am a bit stuck.

Can anyone help?

It's not just about what you put on the sign up page. There are loads of merchants out there so you need to work at making yourself known.

  Re: Affiliate Program

As Fraser said, I think its just a case of getting your name out there.

I would definately promote you (and will do later in the month when I start work on one of my planned sites), but I haven't heard of you before and didn't know about your website or program.

Now Im aware of you though, I will promote you

Good luck getting more affiliates! You could always try running a competition or offer or something to get you in the Affiliate Future newsletter which goes out to all AF affiliates, that should help you get more exposure.

  Re: Affiliate Program

It might be because of the hesitation to promote an adult programme.

The "affiliate login" button on your site actually takes you to Affiliate Future's merchant login page.

Hi Viva

In addition to the excellent advice already posted here, perhaps you would consider one of our merchant training sessions, that could generate some ideas for you. If you login to your account and check out the news section the dates are in there.

Then please email me to luke at affiliatefuture.co.uk with a suitable date. They're free and last a couple of hours.

Cheers

Luke

  Re: Affiliate Program

Hi Viva

Having just had a quick look at your programme this is what an affiliate sees when they go to your programme page on Affiliate future:-

Merchant: Viva Vibrators
Site: Vibrators Sex Toys Buy Adult Dildos Sex Toys Online Sex Vibrator Shops UK - VivaVibrators.co.uk

Merchant Description
VivaVibrators.co.uk is a dedicated online store for Vibrators, offering a large range of adult sex toys. Commission is 10% per sale for each sale.

Viva
Offer:
Viva Vibrators is offering affiliates a commission of 20% on all sales.

As you can see the top description says 10% and the bottom 20% i would suggest you speak to affiliate future about changing this or you can give me a call on 0870 8031366 and i will talk you through how to do it.

Cheers

Mark

  Re: Affiliate Program

The thing about affiliate programs is they are just like sites. It's hard enough to get traffic to websites these days because there are so many websites on the web which are all trying to do one thing and that is to get traffic. Now with an affiliate program you have to just promote it like a website so getting traffic to it is one thing, but then making that convert to affiliates is another. So with your affiliate program you are not only competiting for the traffic, but you are also competiting with other affiliate programs and there are a lot about. The more well known affiliate programs is also likely what people will chose. Basically you can blame a partial bit of that on merchants that don't treat their affiliates well or scam them without paying them. Due to stuff like this, it turns of peoples trust when it comes to taking part in new affiliate programs on the web.

Anyway, good luck with this.

  Re: Affiliate Program

Hi Zara,

You should also talk to Affiliate Future about how to use a different version of your header graphic that doesn't have a phone number on it, that will help.

Definitely go to one of the training sessions AF put on also, that'll give you plenty of ideas and tips.
