www.bideasi.com Rival to eBay

http://www.bideasi.com/images/bideasi5.jpg

We are a new online auction website which will become the main rival to eBay.

The reason we know this is because our concept is very different to any current online auction website.

We decided that there is no way anyone can compete against eBay if you are only going to copy what eBay do.

So our goal was to design a website that regardless if you are a buyer or a seller you will logically decide to shop on our website FIRST before you shop on eBay. This is harder to achieve in reality.

To understand more you need to go to bideasi.com or bideasi.co.uk, register and then log in.

Also please read 'How bideasi Works' on our website. Click Here

How Do You Make Money From bideasi

We have a service called Web Link, which allows website owners to feature real time bideasi items on your website. If a customer visits bideasi and makes ANY purchase you will receive a commission on the purchased items. To sign up to Web Link you first of all need to register with bideasi and then log in. Then go to the Sell section, 'Payments & Contracts Menu'. The Web Link FREE sign up screen can be accessed here.

If you need to ask any questions please email bideasi at info@bideasi.com

Most people only buy from merchants who have high ebay rating by customers...read the books related to ebay and you will see why there is only one daddy in that arena. As a merchant with good ratings you get loads of sales, you try some where else and you get no sales...so you dont bother and go back to ebay.

C'mon, don't knock the guy. As soon as they've made their first £2 they'll have doubled what they spent on the design costs of the site. Although it will be a pain that word of mouth will require a spelling lesson everytime someone mentions the domain to a friend...

netspider: I really like your forum handle name, this is about the only positive thing I can think of right now :0)

You may want to look at the website in terms of presentation and ease of navigation and a clearer explantion of what it is you do.

Imagine I am from mars and I know nothing about you, your company or your business model. Start again...

How are you different to ebay "So our goal was to design a website that regardless if you are a buyer or a seller you will logically decide to shop on our website FIRST before you shop on eBay." Makes no sense...
Who
What
Why
Where
I want to get what it is you do without having to sign up, could be you have some thing, but for the life of me I cant see what that is.

 Re: www.bideasi.com Rival to eBay

I would only spend the time of day to respond to 1 person here and that is Jess1.
Ok, everyone said How can a jumble sale exist on the internet, no-one could understand eBay in the early days.
So, Id suggest you read How bideasi Works first, at the end of the day that is what that section is there for. If you do not understand the benefits after reading that I would be interested because that is important.
The site is in it's early days, but the functionality believe me is very good and has taken considerable amount of effort.
The design was our last concern but we know we need to change a few things.
We encourage CONSTRUCTIVE critiscm not idiots who think they know everything.
