  How suitable is my website?

Hi
I have a relatively new website and would like to set up as a merchant with an affiliate programme. I would really appreciate it if someone could advise me as to whether my site is suitable and which programme to go for? Most of the programmes I have looked at seem to have really big companies on their books. It is quite expensive to set up as a merchant and since I haven't got a clue about this, I would really appreciate some feedback!
Thanks

Hi Karina - try getting in touch with Clarke at Paid On Results (POR) - we've recently launched Childrens Rooms with them and we're more than pleased with the service we've received. I'm sure they'll give you excellent, honest advice.

Some merchants run their own programs - not sure of the technicalities but worth considering.

Nice looking product and website b.t.w

Hi Karina

Nice site. You can buy an off the shelf piece of software that will enable you to manage your affiliates quite well. (Approx £150-£500)

Once set up it can register a cookie every time a visitor is sent to your site. Then with a little bit of code in the shopping basket you can reward each affiliate by percentage or fixed fee.

The software should do everything you need and if you don't have in-house programmers then you should look for a piece of software that comes with unlimited support & installation.

Hope this helps.

I second Elaines suggestion. Clarke at Paid On Results will provide you with suggestions and prices which you may find somewhat surprising. They are a very eager network to help new merchants big and small, and are one of the most responsive to us affiliates.

They also have a lot of experience in the industry and know exactly what works and what doesn't. Defo worth dropping them a line.

In terms of your website - very clean, clear and easy to navigate. In mine, and many others eyes, very professional and ticks a lot of the boxes

Hi

I am also a merchant running a jewellery website. We launched our affiliate programme with Affiliate Future in Spring.

If you want to drop me a private message I would be happy to tell you what I have learnt from it.

Thanks.

Ben
